Reality Marble Wishlist

The big question... what do you think a Reality Marble should do? Post your ideas here, no matter how crazy they are. Keep in mind, also, that some enemies will have Reality Marbles themselves, so every idea counts for something.

Format should be like this:

!! Name
<Description of the effect. Try to be detailed and specific, and don't worry about how it would be programmed.>
* Try to list...
* ...different elements...
* ...that make up this thing.
* If you can't think of any...
* ...then don't worry about it...
* ...and leave it out.
* Someone will fill it in for you...
* ...as best they can.

Effects List

Dump different effects you'd like to see here.

Timestop

Timestops for all other characters. You can still take actions as the the effect is maintained. After it is dispelled, everything crashes down on everyone.

  • Disable all actions and effects of all combatants except user.
  • Lock the action queue.
  • Pause the game clock.
  • Results of user's further actions are placed in a queue.
  • All combatants still remain in combat, unless physically moved (example: Ejected)
  • When the timestop effect is dispelled, all actions in queue are popped off one after another.
  • Game clock unpaused; battle resumes normally.

Individual's Reality Marbles

Royal Knight's Reality Marble: Absolute Rule - Crucifying the Unbreakable Will

All status effects and elements cleared from the battlefield. RK's physical and magical defense increases dramatically; all attacks directly made against him are reduced by 90%, AFTER mitigation. Cannot be interrupted in any attacks. Cannot be status effected. All attacks against party members have no perceivable effect on them; the actual effect is stored in a queue. When the Reality Marble is collapsed, or the battle is finished, all attack effects are released upon RK for unmitigated damage.

  • All status effects and buffs cleared from the battlefield.
  • Royal Knight's physical and magical defense increases dramatically.
  • Damage to Royal Knight is reduced by 90%, AFTER mitigation.
  • Royal Knight cannot be interrupted by any attack.
  • Royal Knight cannot be status effected.
  • Root Queue
    • All attacks against party members are re-routed into a queue; party member is unharmed.
    • When Absolute Rule is cancelled; discharge the queue upon Royal Knight for raw damage and effects.

Depletion Garden's Reality Marble: Aijou no Hoshi - The Star of Love

  • All enemies have a chance every turn as long as the Reality Marble is up to be charmed by DG
  • Character deity affinities are doubled
  • Rate of Adrenaline increase for all allies and enemies is increased
  • DG gains access to a new 100% Adrenaline Attack, "Aijou no Hoshi". Using this attack breaks the Reality Marble

Konoha Mirioki's Reality Marble: GOS - The Black Screen of Death

  • Mecha Konoha counter attacks
  • RK-ko uses a rediculous cheat code at the beginning of GOS. Cheat code is randomly chosen as follows.
    • No SP/TP cost for all party members (Except GOS)
    • Damage done to party is done back to enemy
    • Damage done to party is mostly recovered
    • Damage done by party is multiplied by a randomly chosen number from 2-10
  • DG-ko heals and buffs the party.
  • Party has innate instant KO in all regular attacks. (small chance)

Noodle Knight's Reality Marble: Bullet Time - Chronoshifting Ability

  • All status ailments that hinder, or are related to, NoodleKnight's agility are dispelled. Agility is greatly increased and chance to dodge attack is greatly increased.
  • While selected, NoodleKnight percieves everything to be a lot slower. When not selected, NoodleKnight is moving really damn fast.
  • Reality Marble cannot be interrupted. All Reality Marbles can be interrupted if we send an Excalibur your way, if you get what I mean. -RK
  • Reality Marble has no effects on NoodleKnight's attacks or spells.
  • MP Consumption
    • To enter bullet time consumes a specified constant amount of MP (this value changes by other factors like skill level, items, etc...)
    • When in bullet time, a constant amount of MP is consumed (again this value changes through the duration of the game as the character grows).
