Start Of Game
Prologue
BL-tan, a wandering catgirl mercenary is contracted to work at a 6th Realm Outpost. Mercenaries are in higher demand in the 6th realm due to recent outbreaks of unknown monsters. On the way to the outpost, she ends up saving a cloaked man from a group of thieves.
BL-tan is on guard duty with a white knight when the outpost suddenly gets attacked by a chaos outbreak. BL-tan and the white knight decide to team up and fight their way out of the outpost.
They escape in time to witness the outpost get destroyed in a giant magical explosion. The dust clears and they find a man floating above the rubble. It was the cloaked man BL-tan saved before. The White Knight seems to know the unknown man. The unknown man attacks them both and they fight a losing battle.
The White Knight is smashed aside with a magical blast. BL-tan desperately performs a last ditch attack but finds her attack deflected. The unknown man holds up BL-tan by the neck and looks into her eyes and says something about her look. And that maybe such determination is the answer. And that strong souls attract one another. He then drains BL-tan of her power and tosses her aside.
BL-tan, as her consciousness fades away hears the unknown man saying if she wanted her power back, she'll have to gather strong souls across the realms to supplement her.
Chapter 1
A wandering ninja, Cade, finds BL-tan lying in the ruins of the outpost with her wounds tended to. BL-tan awakes and attacks Cade out of instinct to find herself unable to launch an attack properly. All that wasn't a bad dream like she had hoped. A remaining chaos creature bursts out of the rubble and Cade defeats it. Then BL-tan remembers what the unknown man said and finds that she has the knowledge to use a new magical ability, Blood Binding. BL-tan then binds Cade without his consent and without caring about the strength of his soul, declaring Cade to be her servant. Cade decides to give in and that this would just give his wandering a bit more of a direction. On a side note, the White Knight is nowhere to be seen.
BL-tan decides that the Sixth Realm is a bit too dangerous for her at her current state and decides to get out before planning her next move. Cade has no choice but to guide her to the nearest portal town. It is still quite a mile before the portal town so they decide to stop at a quaint little hamlet to stock up on supplies. The hamlet is attacked by a band of crazy Touhou cultists for reasons unknown. They pilfer everything, including said supplies (and cigarettes) they were planning to buy. BL-tan and Cade manage to defend themselves, but by then the cultists had already left with the supplies... except for the ones they fought, which are a bunch of corpses.
BL-tan comes up with a reckless plan of tracking down the cultists and getting the supplies for free despite Cade's protests. They follow... footsteps. Lots of them. The lead into a campsite in the Forest of Magic. There they find the cultists chanting around a giant campfire and a man tied to a big stake, fast asleep. BL-tan and Cade attack the cultists and free the man. He wakes up and introduces himself as a wandering mage, Delirium Elephants. He then cackles a bit madly, reduces the campsite to dust with his magic, and stabs a cultist with his spear. The remaining cultists flee.
Good thing there was a bit of random supplies left unscathed by DE's magic and BL-tan commands Cade to salvage whatever is salvageable. The three decide to set up camp and rest before heading out.
Before heading out, BL-tan decides that DE should serve her for saving his life, even though it is clear he can fend for himself once he awakes. DE agrees anyway and gets blood binded. DE says he knows a shortcut through the forest to the nearest portal town, and they set off.
They end up getting lost and more chaos monsters begin appearing. Then, suddenly, they get attacked by a large incarnation of chaos. They manage to defeat it, but just when they thought it was over, it regenerates itself. A dark knight, jumps in and obliterates the creature in a single blow. The dark knight introduces herself as Mikan and guides the party back to the nearest portal town.
The party finds themselves without portal access. It is deemed too dangerous to use the portals with the recent chaos outbreaks in fear that it might spread to the other realms. BL-tan doesn't care about any regulations or dangers and is determined to get portal access one way or another. Cade, too, doesn't want to stay around much longer with the danger seemingly increasing with each passing moment and offers his illusion skills to sneak into the portal room.
They find the portal room sealed with magic. DE says it's no problem and destroys the magically-sealed doors. The noise made attracts the attention of guards, who attack the party. The party manages to hold off the guards until Mikan arrives. Apparently, she's the captain of the guards of the current town. The party is fights Mikan but is unable to defeat her. Cade uses a smoke illusion to distract Mikan while BL-tan and DE figure out how to use the portal. They somehow manage to activate it and escape.
Chapter 2
Something went wrong and the party finds themselves falling through the sky. Good thing for them a bunch of trees broke their fall. They wander about, trying to find their bearings and eventually manage to get out of the forest they landed into onto a main road. They follow the main road and they reach a walled city, The Pleasure Bastion. DE hesitates and says he doesn't want to go in but BL-tan drags him in. DE puts on a mask out of nowhere as he gets dragged in.
They find themselves greeted by a bunch of maids. They find out that they landed in the 5th realm. The maids suddenly look really shocked at BL-tan and ask if her ears are natural. BL-tan twitches them as a reply and the maids insists that they must join their master for a meal. It all sounds terribly fishy but BL-tan decides that theres nothing wrong with a free meal.
The party ends up in a grand dining hall in some mansion. The master, a noble clad in red shows himself overdramatically. And then runs up to BL-tan being ballistic about her natural cat ears. He then offers her a huge sum of money for a blood and hair sample. BL-tan doesn't like that idea, the master gets mad and decides to get it by force. He vanishes and the party is surrounded by by katana wielding maids.
The party has to fight their way out of the mansion through all his katana wielding maids. At the entrance, the master is there. Wielding a large syringe. With him is the head maid. He introduces himself as Depletion_Garden, the owner of Pleasure Bastion and the head maid introduces herself as a Lieutenant of the Dark Meido Corps who are currently under the service of DG. They decide to make a deal that if DG loses this match, he will have to serve BL-tan. And if BL-tan loses, she has to serve DG.
After some fighting, DG loses and gallantly accepts his defeat. Or rather bickers about is rotten luck. But DG has one last request, recently there has been a panty thief who is also a voyeuer who has been terrorising the denizens of the Pleasure Bastion. DG says he must perform this last duty before leaving the bastion. Somehow BL-tan is convinced to aid in the search for this villain.
The party runs around the bastion, looking for clues which finally leads them to a trail of panties leading outside into a cave. They follow the trail and eventually find a turban wearing short old man with a panty mask, sniffing panties through it. DG confronts him overdramatically, like any golden haired noble would and they fight. Despite his looks, this turban wearing short old man is extremely skilled, using his own crazy fusion of ninja and kung fu skills. But after a long fight, he is finally defeated.
After the battle, instead of executing him on the spot or throwing him into the gallows, DG decides to employ him as the chief security advisor of the Pleasure Bastion. Since he is skilled enough the elude the Elite Dark Meido Corps, he should be able to patch up any holes in security. And his fighting skills are awesome too. He agrees to the high pay and nice permanent residence and a used panty gashapon machine. In the days to pass, he will become popular among quite a few women and even come to acquire his own harem but that is another tale for another day.
The Pleasure Bastion is left under the supervision of the Dark Meido Corps and the new Security Advisor. DG notices that DE is familiar and rips off his mask. It turns out DE was the co-owner of the Pleasure Bastion and had went missing for a few years already. DG smacks DE for disappearing without a trace and without a reason.
The party leaves the bastion to continue BL-tans quest.
Chapter 3
Without too much trouble, the party arrives at the capital city which is also the home of a portal.
The party decides to go to a bar to check up on news. They go into a random bar and walk right into a barfight. Some plain looking guy runs up to BL-tan screaming for help but gets a door slammed in his face. He kicks down the door, hides behind the party and says that they are his relatives. The bar owner and his men decide to make BL-tan and the party pay for the damages. BL-tan refuses and the party beats up the bar owner and his men. They decide to make themselves scarce before the local law enforcers come to the scene.
The man introduces himself as Noodleknight, some wandering guy who will does random jobs. NK wonders how he can repay the party for saving him, although he pretty much forced the party to save him. BL-tan decides that NK's life belongs to her since she saved it and says he is to be her servant. NK starts to negotiate pay and BL-tan says food and makes up a crappy low allowance.
On the way to the inn, NK learns that the party is after some unknown guy. And that Cade was somehow dragged into this nonsense. And the history. NK grabs his belongings in the inn and the party gets some supplies that he had. The party asks for the latest news at the inn but there was nothing related to relics and random destruction. NK happens to have a big map of the 5th realm and they decide to check it. They discover the location of a town housing the shrine of the deity of pride, Akiha. They decide to set off for the town.
Having nothing to do, they thought, hey why not? Lets just.... check it out for reasons unknown. On the way a cloaked figure runs into BL-tan. BL-tan gets a slight glimpse at a face that strangely resembles... hers. The cloaked figure runs off.
They reach the relic town only to hear sounds of gunfire and mafia terrorizing the place. A bunch of mafia try to intimidate BL-tan and party to leave the place but BL-tan kicks his ass resulting in a bloodbath.
The party finally fights their way into the heart of all the action, Akiha's Shrine. BL-tan decides that they should kick all the mafia's asses because she was pissed at that pathetic intimidation earlier on and go on ahead and defeat all the mafia in the place. At the end, they meet a mafia lieutenant with Akiha's relic. They go ahead and beat the crap out of him only to have a beam blow a hole through the roof and have a cloaked figure jump through and nab the relic and blow a hole through a wall and escape. BL-tan recognizes the figure as the one that ran into her earlier. The party decides to get the hell out of there before things get messy.
The party stops at the local inn and checks NK's map. It turns out there is one more shrine in the realm, one of the deity of death, Tohno Shiki. They hear that it has been under siege for the past few days by the army of a powerful chaos knight called General Reapsalot. The capital has been offering rewards to mercenaries to go help fight against the new threat, so BL-tan decides it's best to go where the money is. Suddenly, the mafia barges into the inn and demand that they hand over a catgirl. The people in the inn value their own lives and hide under the tables, screaming out BL-tan's location. The mafia attacks BL-tan and her party.
The party fight the mafia off and run out of the inn to run into even more mafia. Suddenly, a mysterious person pops out of nowhere and shoots them all down with a display of gunnery skills. The mysterious person reveals herself as Kaorin, a wandering mercenary. She asks BL-tan why the mafia are after her, but BL-tan doesn't really know. She decides that the next course of action is to find out why the mafia are after her. Kaorin then reveals that she was after the bounty on the head of the mafia, but it is too dangerous for herself alone. They decide to cooperate to take down the mafia leader.
Kaorin knows the location of the main mafia hideout which is underneath a nearby casino. The party decides to just barge in and fight their way in.
The party fights their way through and eventually reach the mafia leader, Algernon. Also known as Mr Big Cheese. It turns out that DG knows him and that he had launched attacks on the Pleasure Bastion before since DG stole all the business in the sex industry. Algernon says something about how his prize came to him and that he would be granted great power for getting rid of her. The party fights and defeats Algernon. BL-tan interrogates Algernon at knife point but before he can say anything, a cloaked figure appears out of nowhere and fires a magical bolt BL-tan. BL-tan dodges but Algernon gets killed by the bolt. BL-tan attacks the cloaked figure and they fight one on one equally for a bit. The cloaked figure says something as expected from my double. BL-tan and party defeat her and she retreats saying she'll let them off this time. The party chases the cloaked figure outside. Before they can give chase further, a few bullet shots are fired in succession from a distance, ricochet from some lamp post, putting bullet holes around BL-tan's foot. The party is distracted and the cloaked figure escapes.
Chapter 4
The party decides to return to the capital city to claim the bounty. They receive a massive amount of money which they split with Kaorin. BL-tan offers the party's portion to Kaorin under the condition that she become her servant for the duration of her quest. Kaorin is greedy and agrees and gets blood binded. That and she's been getting a bit tired of traveling alone. Kaorin was also curious about that skilled sniper earlier and wants to see this expert gunner for herself.
The party ponders their next move. Who was that cloaked figure? Who was that expert gunner? At any rate its time for some rest and they decide to spend their money at the capital. While getting a bit drunk at the inn, they hear that the town where the Shrine of the Deity of Death was besieged in the past two days and that mercenaries were being hired to fight them off. Seeing that Akiha's shrine was raided not a while back, BL-tan deduces that this might be related to her doppelganger and decides to check it out with the party.
The party heads for the town where Tohno Shiki's shrine is to find it ablaze and besieged by soldiers in black armour. They get attacked by these unknown soldiers. The party fights their way up to the shrine only to see troops withdrawing on horseback from the shrine. The leader sneers at the party and tells his a few of his elite troops to finish off the party. The party fights and defeats these elite troops who called themselves the best of the Chaos Knights. At the end of the battle, the black knights have already retreated. Suddenly the shrine erupts into flames and floating above the center of the shrine is none other than the mad sage. BL-tan decides to charge up to the mad sage but is intercepted by a woman with a robot arm, wielding a sniper rifle in her robot arm and a strange high tech looking pistol in her other. She announces that the party should leave if they value their lives and forget all of this. Of course BL-tan doesn't back down and fights her.
The woman is impressively powerful and manages to defeat the party without using her sniper rifle. After the party's defeat, the woman says that this is their final warning and leaves. The mad sage is nowhere to be seen.
The party goes into the shrine to find that everybody had been slaughtered. An old man survived by hiding and BL-tan questions him. It turns out that the relic had been stolen.
The party decides to help whatever survivors there were in the town put out fires and stuff. The inn is mysteriously intact and they decide to plan their next move. Shrines have been attacked, one by someone who resembles BL-tan who is apparently out for her head. And the other by black knights and the mad sage, and at both situations an expert gunner. Unsure about what exactly to do, BL-tan decides to check out these Deity Shrines in the other realms.
The party decides to go to the 4th realm next. It turns out that portal access to the 6th realm has been cut off, something is definitely going on back there. At any rate, the party decides to move off to the 4th realm.
Before they leave, there is an earthquake. Something goes wrong with the portal and they end up getting tossed into some void.
The party ends up in some screwy void maze and have to fight some screwy void monsters. They end up comming across some cardboard box. What is this? Written on the box is Deity of the Homeless, Single Women and Loneliness, Satsuki Yumiduka. It turns out there are less prominent deities without large established shrines that not everybody has heard of. Inside the cardboard box is the relic, a bloody lock of hair. The party decides to filch it, thinking why not? It was in some random box in some limbo void. The party eventually finds their way out and end up in the 4th realm.
Chapter 5
The party finally makes it to the 4th realm. Except due to that earthquake earlier, they have landed on top of some mountain. BL-tan feels a presence in the area but this presence disappears when she tries to look for it. At any rate the party decides to trek down this mountain.
After a short walk they get attacked by a raving madman with a halberd! The party beats him up. And somehow manage to beat him up and make him less mad. BL-tan decides he would make a good servant and decides not to kill him just yet. The beating they gave the mad halberdier seems to have knocked him back to his senses. He can't remember anything, just... blood. And he's a bit mad, lost and has nowhere to go. BL-tan decides to decieve him and says that he's her servant. She blood binds Raf and he ends up joining.
As they go down this mountain, they find some rather hastily set up mines and traps. That aren't very effective since the party finds them. They continue moving, avoiding these badly done traps and fighting random mountain monsters and they stop at a natural hot spring.
BL-tan and Kaorin decide to take a dip, banning the guys from looking.
A strange super sentai is then sitting atop a tree, peeking at the girls and making perverted comments to himself. Suddenly DG and DE appear beside him and agree with is comments. Before this strange super sentai can react, the branch they are on breaks and they fall into the hot spring.
DG and DE push all the blame on the super sentai, saying that they caught some strange guy peeking. At any rate, BL-tan and Kaorin kick the shit out of BD for a bit while DG and DE disappear behind the other guys.
The super sentai introduces himself as BD. It turns out he was once part of a super sentai team but they got attacked by some short cloaked figure with a staff and crazy magic for no reason while they were walking in a forest. His got split up from his team and hasn't seen them for weeks. At any rate it turns out he's homeless and jobless and nobody wants to hire a lone super sentai. People want super sentai teams. And that he has been living on the mountain, living off mountain rats and mushrooms. He then begs the party for work and BL-tan decides to make him her servant and blood binds him. BL-tan once again notices a presence. So it wasn't this crazy super sentai that was stalking them.
As they walk down the path some more, BD says his scanners detect.... a lot of landmines. It turns out these traps are much more well done than the previous ones. He fires his overtechnology rolling pin and it bounces about, setting off all the mines.
The party manages to reach the bottom. Suddenly theres explosions, smoke and out of it appears some guy with a guitar case, bandanna and stuff. He says that BL-tan's time has come and attacks!
He's completely pathetic and the party kicks the shit out of him. But then he drops a flash and smoke bomb to mask his escape and.... escapes. He leaves behind an Ackbar doll. BL-tan is a catgirl, curiosity kills the cat. Catgirls are no exception. She examines the strange doll which releases poison gas and poisons BL-tan.
Chapter 6
The party rushes her to a nearby village and try to look for a doctor. They find out there is only one doctor in this village, but he hasn't had any patients in years. They decide to seek him out anyway. Entering his house, they find a drunken Doctor Ecksington, who attacks them in a drunken stupor. The party defeats him and force him to examine BL-tan.
Ecksington knows exactly what type of poison was used, but he doesn't have the antidote on him. The nearby pharmaceutical giant would have it in storage, but they don't readily sell it. Ecksington offers to help them break into it, but it needs to be a small team, and a few party members need to stay behind and take care of BL-tan.
(Suggested party: Raf, BD, Kaorin, Noodle, and Zophar Ecksington.)
The party travels a distance to the hospital bordering the Third Realm. They run into a man, dressed like a butler, being harassed by several thugs. The party decides to help and defeats them. The butler thanks them, saying that they were bounty hunters looking to extract his spleen, which can be sold as a miracle medicine for a small fortune. Quickly noticing the greedy looks among the party members, he quickly makes an escape before they decide to jump him. The party decides to continue towards the hospital and ignore the strange butler.
They arrive at the hospital, and the party can choose whether to charge through the front entrance or sneak in through the trash chute.
- Breakthrough: The party charges forth. They fight several guards, and the place becomes locked down. The party will have to fight through several barricades all the way into the main storage center.
- Sneaking: The party works through the trash and crawls through the access chutes, working their way into they get into a secure area. They ambush guards repeatedly and quickly work their way into the main storage center.
Ecksington finds the antidote amongst the shelves and also takes the opportunity to nab several other strange products. However, one party member opens up a large crate, labeled "ZERO ELEMENT SPECIMEN: DO NOT OPEN ON PAIN OF DEATH." A black monstrous wolf (a Mukuro-type of sorts) emerges and attacks the party. The party has a surprisingly tough time against it, but manage to defeat it, shattering it into pieces that spread around the area.
Unfortunately for the party, guards rush into the center and surround them. The party decides to try to make a run for it and break through, but shattered pieces of the Mukuro each turn into full-grown wolves and start attacking the guards. The party uses this convenient distraction to escape.
The party works their way back to Ecksington's village, and Ecksington gives BL-tan a pill to cure her. The next day, BL-tan makes a full recovery, and Ecksington tries to get "payment" from BL-tan herself. BL-tan nearly bites his hand off, blood-binding him, and forces him to become her servant. Ecksington decides just to go along for food and alcohol, tired of performing "back-alley operations" to pay the rent.
Chapter 7 - Densetsu Heiki - Nyanko Ou no Ken
BL-tan and the party decides to look for clues for more information about Constanze and the mysterious cloaked figure. They run into RK before leaving the town. He heard a rumor that a a legendary sage and prophet who lived on top of a nearby mountain, and who supposedly knows everything and anything. BL-tan tries to blood bind him, but he avoids it and keeps his distance.
The party travels through a forest at the foot of the hill. Journeying through the forest, the party gets ambushed by... a super sentai team! They want BD to join them because they are missing the colour yellow/gold. Before BD says anything, BL-tan refuses and says BD is her belonging. The party fights them off, and the sentai team retreats, vowing vengeance against the "evil BL-tan!" She shrugs this off, and the party passes through the forest.
They take a long trek up a hill, going through booby traps, illusions, monsters, so on. The party wonders if this is even worth the risk, but BL-tan pushes forward anyway.
They finally reach the top and discover a dojo amidst the hot, dry winds and harsh, rocky landscape. The sage is inside, Before they can even begin to question the ancient-looking man, he begins going into a cryptic monologue about the search for power. After several hours, the party decides that it was a waste of time and begins to take off. However, the sage then talks about a katana that he made specifically for BL-tan, then offers to train her with it. Already irritated with him and not wanting to waste any more time on the god-forsaken summit, the party ignores him and tell BL-tan to just forget about that wacko.
BL-tan, though, stays where she is and agrees to take it. She feels that she's too weak by herself and that she needs more power to defeat the Mad Sage. The old man begins training her in the dojo, kicking the rest of the party out.
They decide to (or are forced to) make camp and spend the night outside. They start talking about their stories to pass the time. Player gets to choose which story to listen to in between each of BL-tan's practice session.
- BD tells us his life story as a solo sentai.
- DG complains about something about GATTAI and colors of the rainbow.
- RK thinks everybody is crazy. He starts writing notes in his journal and idly talks about his fights against the chaos forces.
- Drm rants crazily about random things.
- Cade smokes and waxes the philosophical, lost in thought.
- Ecksington is drunk, complaining about his profession, lack of money, and all the people he has to deal with.
- NK tinkers with his guns and talks about his plans for the future.
- Raf plots something in the corner while creepily petting his halberd. He occasionally loudly mutters about blood, power, and his halberd "Ovelia."
After the training is complete, BL-tan goes to ask about the old man about the cloaked figure and Constanze. However, the old man has vanished and is no where in sight. A little annoyed but still a bit satisfied, BL-tan emerges from the dojo with the katana in hand and gains the ability to go into Katana mode. The party asks about the old man and what they wanted to ask him, but a glare from her and a quip from her katana make them go silent. The group heads back down the mountain through the forest as BL-tan puts her new katana skills to good use.
When they get out of the forest, the party decides to head back to the city, so RK decides to take leave again. He accidentally drops loose papers from his journal before leaving. The party picks it up and sees a lot of random notes, including detailed information about certain cities, shrines, and several individuals, including some party members. They decide to keep it for themselves.
Chapter 8 - 800-VINTAGE - Combat Butler Army
While wandering in the city and picking up supplies, DG finds a wanted poster. It turns out some catgirl who looks exactly like BL-tan is wanted, much to DG's surprise. Furthermore, there's a large bounty on her head, much more to DG's surprise. However, he only shares that information with DE. DE suggests they contact the number listed on the poster and claim the bounty for their own.
Later that night, DG and DE drags BL-tan to some discrete location to trap BL-tan. However, DG's plan backfires and they all get ambushed by a mysterious lawyer and her butler army who try to arrest BL-tan, DG, and DE. They defeat a few of them before the lawyer orders one particular battle to fight. He is stopped by RK, who flies in from above, flattening one of the butlers in the process. The butler and RK fight while BL-tan, DG, and DE fight off other enemies. They plow through more of Vintage's lackeys before the rest of the party arrives.
Cade clears up the misunderstanding with the mysterious lawyer. Introducing herself as Vintage, she tells the party about EBL-tan, who looks similar to BL-tan, and her vile crimes against humanity. As her entourage pick up their unconscious butler-comrades, she apologizes and gives the party an item for consolation before leaving.
- If KR defeats RK, Vintage gives the party an attack accessory.
- If RK defeats KR, Vintage gives the party a defense accessory.
BL-tan is about to stab DG and DE for causing all of this when Kaorin interrupts and asks why RK ended up coming back to the city when he said he was going off. He responds that he saw a large army of butlers heading down the main road to the city, so he naturally got a little curious and followed them back to the city. Noodle is about to give back the papers RK dropped when Zophar smashes him in the back of the head.
The party figures that the situation is getting more complicated and that there are way too many things too many places to cover, so they decide to split up. BL-tan wants to check out the shrines and wait for the Mad Sage to make a move on them. DG wants to check out some "other leads" he has. RK goes off to investigate more into the Mad Sage by himself. In a serious tone, he warns that things are getting worse, and the party should be on their guard.
Mid-Game
